Thank you for your patience during this closure while health and safety were prioritized through social distancing. My first day of business will be Thursday, May 14th. I know you are eager to get in (as I am to see you), but please bear with me as I work to accommodate both you and the new requirements. Based on recommendations from the CDC, I am enhancing the frequency and scope of my salon’s cleanliness measures to include routine sanitization following each appointment. As a result, this will lengthen appointment blocks and decrease the total of clients I can see per day. Upon booking, I will require an updated credit card on file to decrease contact with payment, and verification of phone number. I am Barbicide certified and I am following their recommended health and safety standards and checklist to maintain a clean and healthy environment in my salon. Along with those guidelines: -If you or anyone in your household is sick, do not come in. If you have had a fever within 48 hours, do not come in. I will not be able to tell the difference between allergies and illness—if you are sneezing and coughing, do not come in. Cancellation fees for sickness will be waived at this time. -Upon entering, client will be provided a place to wash/sanitize hands. I will follow suit. -No one will be permitted to join client at their appointment. No children allowed unless they have an appointment. -Along with myself, clients will be required to wear a behind the ear mask throughout the service; if you do not have one, I will provide one. It must be kept on the duration of your appointment. -Clients will be required to wait in their cars prior to appointments. Outer doors will be locked, and I will escort you into the building (please make sure # on file is up to date when booking). -Clients will have to bring their own beverages in a closed container. -There will be no talking while I work directly in front of a client’s face. Reopening requires additional time, product, and supplies per client. Transparency in how my services are delivered is more critical than ever. Kindly note my changes in hours, rates, and menu prior to booking. Please be patient while we as a salon industry figure out the best way to do this. I understand how important it is for all of us to look and feel like ourselves again! It is a great privilege to help get you there. I’ve missed you! I charge a 50% cancellation for any no-shows or cancellations within 2 days of the scheduled appointment.
